The equipment has left the building!!

The tools of the trade have officially left Miller Park.
Check it out…
equipment leaves miller park.jpgI should follow the truck to Phoenix.  You know, hope they hit a really big bump on the way and a box of Ryan Braun’s bats fly off the truck.

It’s been a lazy day here in Wisconsin…still cold as hell (that makes no sense if you really think about it).

As you can imagine, though, I’ve had plenty to keep me busy.
Here’s a great shot of the future all-star himself…
Jack 1 week old 004.jpgAs you can see, he’s “happy.”  And, of course, he has on the proper team colors.

Besides all that, nothing new in Brewtown.  I’m just counting down the days until I’m basking in the Arizona sun (52 days until we leave).  Man, that seems like a long time.  Especially when it’s freakin’ snowing all the time here with temps in the single digits.

Let me leave you with the following image…
Happy with SheFan book.jpg(Jane:  I told you I would pick up the book!)

Your son is adorable! Congrats! The Red Sox equipment truck leaves Friday! WHOO HOO! I have Jane’s book also! Man – she is not kind to the Red Sox! Enjoy the count down to your trip.

Oh, Happy. First, I’ll ooh and ahh over J.J. He’s absolutely precious. And I love the pic of you and the book. I wish I could use it in an ad or something. Really great that you took the time to get it, given all that’s been going on in your life.

Nice job Happy, getting any sleep yet?..52 days eh?? I’ve got an opening on the MBU, you can shorten your wait to 17 days if you come with us…D

Thanks-he sure is. Jane can write-that’s for sure. I’m on page 56 as of Thursday morning. I want to finish it by the weekend.

speaking of Jane Heller-for you, anything.

I’m sleeping okay-it’s the Mrs. that may be missing a few winks. You have no idea how much I want to party with you guys on the MBU-that sounds like a crazy good time. I have to find a way to get out to Coors that last week in September-still trying to work it out!

Glad to hear your new addition to your family is doing well! He is adorable!! Will he be accompanying you to Spring Training?

Nice imitation of the front cover btw.

Happy, your son is so adorable! and I love the pic of you. I’m Alex, by the way, new to these blogs.

Happy, he’s so adorable! This may be the only time I like the Packers colors, considering I’m a die-hard Bears fan. 🙂 And that’s a great picture with Jane’s book. Good luck with all that snow.

Oh my goodness, your little boy is so adorable!! And you look strangely similar to the lady on the front of Jane’s book…hmmm. Well, earlier in the week San Diego felt like ssummer, but winter has finally caught up with us. We’re having this huge rain storm now! But spring is coming…

“Great News” Happy !!! …

“Congratulations” on the birth of your new son !!! … He looks like a little angel in the above picture !!! … Also, great name, especially, his middle name — I’m also a J.J. [James Joseph] !!! … It still may be cold in your area, but I know this birth has warmed the hearts of your whole family, as you and your wife are truly blessed !!!!! …………. “May God continue to Bless your whole family” !!! … Jimmy [27NYY], “BY&L”

Before long you’ll have two yellow shirts running around snagging baseballs. Congrats and I’m sure he’s already getting some learnin on the game we call baseball!
